Citigroup Hosts Seminar for Regional Financial Institutions in the Middle East
Dubai, UAE, May 5, 2004 - Citigroup, the world’s preeminent financial institution and global leader in trade and currency products, organized a client seminar titled “Leading Developments in Correspondent Banking Solutions for a Global Marketplace” for its core regional Financial Institution clientele. 86 delegates representing 37 banks in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Pakistan, Jordan, Lebanon and the UAE attended the seminar, which took place between 28 and 29 April in Dubai.
Delegates were updated on Citigroup’s comprehensive suite of trade, currency and payment products including the WorldLink Multicurrency Transaction Services, Continuous Linked Services (CLS) and the USD/Euro clearing services. “The idea was to fully update our clients and upgrade their know-how of our Transaction banking products in order for them to enhance their offering to their own customers,” said E.S.
