Citigroup Hosts Global Payments and Trade Conference for Financial Institutions Across Africa

Johannesburg, South Africa, June 17, 2004 – More than 60 bankers from across Africa attended Citigroup’s Global Payments and Trade Conference recently held in Johannesburg. Participants included representatives from commercial banks in Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, Malawi, Mali, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, and Zambia.

Delegates were updated on Citigroup's comprehensive suite of trade, payment, and investment products including WorldLink Multicurrency Transaction Services, Continuous Linked Services (CLS), and the current global trends in Trade Services.
