Citi Agency & Trust has been voted best issuing and paying agent by its issuing clients – a reflection of its leading market share in the business.
It has handled some 30% of all MTN issuance year-todate according to data from Dealogic, a total of $442bn, and been appointed as IPA on 35 programmes over the last 12 months, many of them new, emerging market borrowers entering the international market for the first time
The roster includes Middle Eastern institutions such as First Gulf Bank and Taqa, the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, as well as Russian financial institutions VTB Europe and Gazprombank.
