Unitrax® Print Director
The Unitrax® Print Director tool allows Unitrax reports to be distributed in a variety of ways. They can be delivered to your network server, to an e-mail address (to be disseminated by an individual or group of users) or posted to a password-protected web site.
If you opt to have the reports delivered to your network server, then any user who has access to the designated network drive can readily access them. Users simply navigate through the report menus using the popular Windows Explorer file-management system. Simple naming conventions make the reports easily identifiable, so that required reports can be viewed electronically or selectively printed from any printer attached to the network server or attached as e-mail to another user. Reports are distributed to all members of a firm, with each individual or department printing only those reports that they require.
Reports distributed to an e-mail address can be routed to a department management, project team or individual. Using the web as a delivery tool can increase the portability and customization of your reports. So, for example, your Accounting Department can be e-mailed with the daily cash sheets and unit balance reports, while your wholesales on the road can be e-mailed with only the marketing reports.
Reports made available to a protected web site are accessible through the use of an Internet browser and a password. The choice of using a secure web site provides the added value of making the reports accessible to employees working from home or on the road. User access can be restricted easily through the use of separate passwords for different departments. This would mean that individuals, departments or branches would have access to only those reports relevant to their area of business.
